Awards nominations are still being accepted for 2020. New deadline is Aug 1, 2020. Separate awards will be open for 2021. See information here. We will not announce the 2020 winners until the 2021 Convention. This will not replace nominations for the following year but we will have presentations for both 2020 and 2021. The first page of the 2020 Awards packet is now updated.

7/26/2019: Convention (2020): Added Registration form for the 2020 Convention, and a flyer.
7/24/2019: Convention: The 7/24 version, alleged to be the last final schedule to be posted on the website, was posted at 5 pm 7/24. When printing, choose the "fit to printer margins" to make sure you see the date of the version in the lower margin of both pages. All previous versions are now superseded with this one. You may received a later version at registration.

7/6/2015: TCPAAA: Replaced a page that had a URL (index_logo.htm) that became obsolete in Jan 2015. The URL was used as a bypass to skip the entry page in the old web design, going directly to the main page. This URL was bookmarked by some users. It got copied to the new server in Feb 2015; the CSS for the page became incorrect as it was not refreshed and it did not even display correctly. Since it is no longer used, I replaced it with a page with explanation rather than just deleting the page as a deletion would send them to the general "not found" 404 page.

3/5/2015: Mailman: Doing a test mailing to the largest list exceeded our limit of 500 emails per hour. As a solution, the member list was split into lists, each about 370 addresses. Created single group address at Tierra.net to send to both, but allow releasing them independently an hour apart whenever something is needed to be sent. This was not a trivial task as mass subscribing and mass unsubscribe had to be used after split point was determined. To simplify for new subscribers, they will be added to the first list. When the 2015 convention registration is processed, it will need to be split by email address to prevent duplication of an email address on both lists.

State main page -- Removed the link to the old home page, as the .css file is different, resulting in page appearing to be incorrectly formatted. Will not be fixed as importance is low.

Pages added for Scholarship and Archives. Other pages on the Region 1 site have custom content for the Region. There is no "In Memory" or "Awards Given" for the Region 1 pages. Link to old Region 1 main page is on the new main page.
2/9/2015: Added page-flip magazine style of viewing for the 501(c)3 document and also the new 2014 Annual Report in addition to their regular pdf formats. Began manually copy/pasting in real names to go with the email addresses in the larger mailing lists. The names were captured from the old list manager, but not in a format that could be used in the mass subscription. This is a low priority task and not required for anything other than associating an email address with a name when using Mailman; more like housekeeping.
2/8/2015: TexasCPAAA.org as of today points to the new server. Technically, TexasCPAAA.org points to TexasCPAAA.net/TCPAAA/ and the easy way to see the difference is the "2005-2015" banner that is on the entry page is only on the new server. There are many links yet to be tested in today's change. I have fixed links on a few pages that had the correct URL, but were attempting to open in the wrong target when the browsers were in a frame-forwarded setup, so they wouldn't load and gave no error. All pages on the new design were reloaded to correct the nav panel to texascpaaa.org. The buttons all worked; but the change was for preference towards the old domain name for the links used for the buttons. 404 page was rewritten to be specific to our site. Convention page: updated link at the bottom of the page to send it to the board page instead of the officers page.
2/6/2015: Earlier changes made to new server site were propagated back to old server for following pages: Newsletters, Regions, Links & Misc, and Awards Given. Region 1 newsletter archive page updated on new server; page on old server containing link now links to that archive page on new server instead of using the old location.
2/4/2015: Changes to new server site only: Newsletters Page: Added link to archive page for Region 1 newsletters. Regions Page: Made the hotspots on the map for Regions 1-3 in a shape that would not overlay adjacent hotspots' outer zone rectangle; this is a workaround for what I believe is a software error in WebPlus. Links & Misc page: Added link to the mailing list info pages to show all the public distribution lists.
2/3/2015: Updated mailing list links that are on Region 1 page; applied to both new and old sites.
2/2/2015: State update -- New site TCPAAA pages=95% (one page, r1newsletters.html, didn't load correctly; fixed). Mail lists=95%, all subscribers' email addresses loaded to all lists; real names like "John Doe" lost as they don't export, but they are not required. Ready to go live with new lists.
2/1/2015: Added banner to entry page on new server page only.
1/30/2015: Status only -- New site convention pages=100%. New site TCPAAA pages=90%. Mail lists =1% (will work these 1st week in Feb)
1/29/2015: Changes to new server site only: Many links were changed from hard-coded URL's to relative addresses. Will not propagate this back to old site, as it is not broke, just a coding preference. Corrected hotspot layer on Newsletters page; on the second row of thumbnails, the date overlay was above the hotspot, masking the hotspot function in that area; fixed by putting the invisible hotspot on top layer. Error remains on old site; will fix if an update is made to that page; text link worked on both; it was just the link on the thumbnail that was the problem. Edited one line on Past Awards page, changing "???" to "No nominations" per input from Dorris.
1/28/2015: Created new server site; started planning migration; began copying files to establish base structure to place Convention and TCPAAA pages on same level instead of TCPAAA being a child of the Convention with new root structure having them both as children. To do this, a new domain name was created, with current names to be transferred by Mar 1.
1/28/2015: Created 2015 Awards Nomination Packet and placed links on this page, the Documents page, and the Awards Given page. It will be also place on the convention site later.
1/27/2015: Panic mode -- notice from hosting provider: "Shared Virtual Hosting will be retired on April 1, 2015. It is essential that any data you have on this service be removed before this date." Nearly all our stuff is affected.
1/27/2015: Updated Minutes file for Oct 25, 2014 board meeting to final version (link on Meetings page).
Updated Meetings page to show next board meeting in April; moved Jan meeting agenda link to past minutes table. Some layout changes.
Updated Policies and Procedures Manual, revising TOC and section G (Alternate Delegates). Link on Documents page was updated to show revision date; also minor layout changes.
Updated separate Alternate Delegates form link to current version.
1/25/2015: Updated Board page to show change in 1st VP.
1/23/2015: The redesigned pages are now the default for TexasCPAAA.org.
Access to the old page will be on a link on the new Main Page below the navigation panel.

There are no planned updates for the old page. Also the preview site will be discontinued.

1/21/2015: Renamed scripts and images subfolders to allow simultaneous use of old and new sites on TCPAAA site when the preview site is installed there. Also renamed any conflicting html files where there was a duplication of name in the old site. Also added a different history file in the About page. The History page came from National, and the About page came from an older undated Region One file.
1/20/2015: Attempting to resolve issues with the minutes of Delegates meetings; any updates are also echoed on the live site to get these files and links corrected.
1/19/2015: Added more content: History page, Misc. & Links.
1/18/2015: First preview posted to preview site on personal server. Additions to pages continue.
1/15/2015: TCPAAA web site rewrite. Most old content is in the process of being incorporated into this new site.
